From there it is a 4,5 km ride 360 metres uphill - but no worries, your eBike will help keeping the heart rate down, although a little self effort and a light sweat is necessary. In the immediate area outside Henningsvær, we have several pairs, each with its own territory. We go out in large rib boats that provide close contact with nature and wildlife. If the weather permits, we’ll go out to an Orchard colony and try to find the Grey Seals. They can be 300 kg and about 3 meters long. If we’re lucky, we also come across Minke whales, Porpoises or Killer Whales. On the trip, we admire the wild landscape and Vågakallen, which is one of Lofoten’s highest and most fabled mountains.
