The tour usually starts with a 7:30h hotel pickup followed by a 1-2hr transfer to the Okavango Delta NG32 Concession. You are allocated a guide/poler who takes you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very passionate and knowledgeable about. We support the local community in the Okavango Delta. All our polers come from the mokoro village Community Trust and are allocated on a daily rotation basis by the Trust. They will take you on a journey through the delta channels. The day trip to Moremi is the quickest way to catch a glimpse of what this remarkable reserve has to offer when you do not have enough time to spend the night. Departing from Maun early in the morning, you will be picked up from your place of accommodation in Maun before heading to Moremi Game Reserve to explore the diversity of this scenic and wildlife-rich area. We will proceed to Black Pools and Xini Area. These areas are in the south western part of Moremi. With seasonal and permanent swamp landscape, these two areas are home to a bounty of buffalo herds, elephant, cheetah, African wild dog and good lion prides, to name a few. The wildlife highlights differ from day-to-day and amongst such are leopard, lion, African wild dog, hyena, kudu, waterbuck, giraffe, zebra, elephant, buffalo, rhino and impala – to name a few.
